Our Story

Building Champions. Shaping Futures.

Born in Chandler, AZ, CKYS started as a vision to create something bigger than wins and losses. We saw an opportunity to bring families together, to build lifelong confidence, and to prepare young athletes not just for their next game—but for life.

At the heart of this movement is our logo: three upward-facing triangles representing the core pillars of our mission— Confidence, Character and Community. They also symbolize a mountain, a nod to the journey every young athlete is on. Step by step, season by season, they climb—with the support of teammates, coaches, and a community that believes in them. It’s a mark of pride, unity, and the promise of a bigger future.

Our Ohana-inspired values are woven into everything we do. That means every child matters. Every coach mentors. And every practice is a step toward something greater.

What Makes Us Different

  • Unified Identity: Our new look reflects a club that acts, looks, and feels like a premier program.
  • All-in Coaching: Every coach is hand-selected not just for skill, but for heart.
  • Community-First: We lead with inclusion, energy, and purpose.
  • Athlete-Centered: From flag football to girls’ softball, we develop well-rounded, resilient young people.

What Makes Us Different

The CK Youth Sports Board is made up of committed parents, coaches, and community leaders who believe in building more than athletes—we’re here to shape confident, compassionate, and resilient young people. These are the faces behind the mission, each bringing their own story and passion to the CK family.

He holds a B.S. in Psychology from UCLA and runs an independent wealth management practice.

Matt Neill

Board Member and Coach

Unfortunately, Matt didn’t get us his bio in time—but that tracks. He’s definitely the Maverick of the board, and the world could use a lot more people like him. Equal parts fun and fiercely committed, Matt brings a spark to CK that can’t be summed up in a few sentences anyway.
